Seongho Museum was built by the municipality of Ansan in memory of Seongho Yi Ik (1681-1763), a great Neo-Confucian scholar from Ansan, to house his personal academic works and associated artifacts. The museum was opened in May 2002 and has on exhibit the personal handwritten materials and works of Yi Ik and other relics related to his studies and philosophy.
Major exhibits include Yi Ik’s handwritten poems and letters, the Seongho literary book, and books written by Toegye Yi Hwang, Misu Heo Bok, Bangye Yu Hyeong-won, and Dasan Jeong Yak-yong, most of which are the original copies. There are also a significant number of relics on exhibit that were once owned by individual collectors.

EXCO is a leading exhibition and convention center in Daegu Metropolitan City, opened with the aim of promoting the local economy as well as the business, culture, and art sectors of Korea on an international scale. Opened in 2001, the center was expanded in 2020 to host larger international events.

Museum of Art, Seoul National University was established as an independent institution in 1995 after several years of development under the Department of Modern Art at Seoul National University Museum. It is the first university art museum in Korea dedicated exclusively to modern and contemporary art. Designed by the world-renowned architect Rem Koolhaas, the museum was constructed and donated by the Samsung Group. It has evolved into a cultural complex equipped with exhibition halls, auditorium, classrooms, and other educational facilities. The museum places special emphasis on educational programs that are open not just to the university's students and faculty, but also to the local community. In addition to modern and contemporary artworks, the museum brings together and exhibits diverse forms of art and culture such as architecture, music, literature, film, and theater.

Kim Koo Museum & Library was built in Yongsan-gu, Seoul to commemorate Baekbeom Kim Koo (1876-1949), a highly respected Korean independence activist. It opened on October 22, 2002 to commemorate Kim Koo's efforts and achievements in Korean history. The main hall is comprised of two floors, exhibiting relics related to his entire life. A statue of a seated Kim Koo is situated in the central space of the first hall.

The Ahn Junggeun Memorial Museum honors the memory of Ahn Junggeun (1879-1910), an independence activist and soldier who advocated for Korean independence and peace in Asia. He fought against the Japanese to defend the Korean Empire (1897-1910). He was executed in 1910 for assassinating Hirobumi Ito, the Japanese who led the invasion of Korea in 1909, in Harbin, China.

Mok In Museum Mok Seok Won relocated in 2019 from Insa-dong to Buam-dong. Six exhibition halls offer visitors a look at wooden figures from around the world. Mokin refers to traditional wooden sculptures carved in shapes of human figures or various animals. The museum holds around 12,000 wooden folk sculptures including those used to decorate funeral carriages and temples mostly from the Joseon dynasty up to modern times. The museum also has an outdoor exhibition hall that harmonizes the sculptures with nature.
